When To Go in for an Eye Exam

When it comes to optometry services near Kirkland and Renton, you can't do better than Eye and Contact Lens Center. Dr. Golitz and his team are dedicated to providing top-notch eye care in a comfortable atmosphere. The best way to stay on top of changes in your vision is to have regular eye exams. Depending on your age and family history, what is "regular" might be different for you.

School Eye Exams

We recommend bringing your children in for a comprehensive eye exam before they are to begin school. Our eye doctor will screen for common childhood vision problems such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, and amblyopia. If any issues are detected, we can fit them for glasses so they can start the school year strong.

Preventative Eye Care

Even if you have 20/20 vision, you should still see an eye doctor regularly. The older you get, the more frequently we would like for you to visit us. At the end of your exam, our doctor will let you know when he'd like to see you again for your next preventative eye exam.

Urgent Eye Exam

When you notice an issue with your vision, we're here for you. Whether you're having trouble reading the menu at your favorite restaurant, or you notice spots in your vision when looking at bright lights, it will be best to make an appointment to have it checked out. This can help us determine if there are underlying issues and how we can best correct them.
